The role requires a BSME or 5–10 years of relevant experience, hands-on tooling knowledge, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or 5–10 years of verifiable, ground-up custom equipment design experience in heavy machinery or high-speed automation.
• Expert fluency modeling large assemblies and producing production-ready drawings in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Ground-Up Machine Architecture: Lead mechanical design integrity for high-speed automated machinery and robotic work cells.
• Conceptual Design & Quoting: Develop concepts and collaborate with Project Managers to brainstorm cost-effective, high-performance solutions.
• Project & Team Leadership: Break down design scopes into milestones, guide detailers/designers and coordinate with external fabrication partners.
• Fluid Power & Drive Systems: Integrate hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo systems; select components.
• Design Reviews & Safety Verification: Conduct early design reviews to eliminate hazards and ergonomic issues before shop release.
• Client & Assembly Floor Collaboration: Act as technical contact for global clients and manage BOM releases and shop floor issues.
