Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Owns a sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools to complete most repairs and services.
- Ability to drive and operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment.
- Mastery of Mechanic B and C-level tasks; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, propane, and fuel systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead fleet maintenance operations and ensure equipment is on the rental 'ready line'.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Herc-owned fleet.
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues using diagnostic tools.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and complete service logs and reports.
- Mentor Mechanic B and C technicians and assist in training.
