Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Mission Equipment Complex (MEC) Zone Lead Manager in Roy, UT to own end‑to‑end design, integration, and release across four product teams. You will manage CAM/EVM baselines, direct multi‑disciplinary teams, and drive MBSE and PDP releases for production readiness.

The role requires a STEM degree with significant experience or a master’s with relevant background, U.S. citizenship, and a Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available and travel is up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship with active Secret clearance at time of application, ability to obtain Top‑Secret clearance.
• Experience in Aerospace or Defense; familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and CAM.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to present to senior leadership and DoD customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, integration, and release of MEC zone subsystems across four product teams.
• Develop and maintain EVMS baseline for MEC scope; track cost, schedule, and performance.
• Direct cross-functional leads and foster collaboration across MEC IPT and other zones.
• Champion model‑based engineering (MBE) and PDP releases; ensure design reviews are closed and releases are production‑ready.
• Serve as primary technical liaison to DoD customers, prime contractors, and suppliers; prepare briefings and status reports.
