Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT, is seeking a Sr. Principal SMT Systems Engineer to support the Delta Flight Test Vehicle program within the Advanced Equipment Subcontract with Lockheed Martin.

You will provide technical oversight, lead test planning and review activities, and ensure customer requirements are met across mechanical, electrical and integrated systems. The role requires a DoD clearance, MBSE experience with Cameo, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 8+ years related experience; 6+ years with a master’s degree.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR).
• 5 years minimum experience in Requirements Verification; DOORS knowledge.
• 3 years experience with Model Based Systems Engineering; Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasking with minimum oversight.
• Understand and apply system requirements.
• Mentor lower level Engineers.
• Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments.
• Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements.
• Create technical reports and present technical information.
• Interface with customers and subcontractors; coordinate with systems engineers.
