Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Principal Project Manager to lead program execution, interfacing with IPTs and leadership across the organization. You will drive planning, scheduling, and performance, ensuring EVMS compliance and high-quality deliverables while coordinating with CAMs, WPLs, and stakeholders.

The role requires a US DoD Secret clearance, strong communication skills, and proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in defense programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with relevant degree; 4+ years with equivalent experience may be considered.
• Must hold US citizenship with a active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Experience in requirements development and verification planning.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage programs.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and manage across program segments with functional teams.
• Coordinate staffing requirements with program assignment managers.
• Plan, monitor and control work scope within the program area.
• Review budget, schedules and issues; deliver corrective actions.
• Develop reporting mechanisms for project progress and escalations.
• Coordinate with IPTs and leadership; prepare executive/customer briefings.
• Execute project plans and ensure CAM/WPL alignment.
• Maintain high quality work products and foster team development.
