Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring product quality, reducing waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products, and train others to perform their duties effectively.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and complete work assignments efficiently by collaborating with team members and managing priorities.
