Position Summary... As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service, is flexible to the needs of the business, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of different meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management, and operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results, ensures operational excellence, plans for profitability, maintains a work area according to policies, ensures quality and standards for high-volume meat products, eliminates waste, secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing members’ experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest level of quality, interacting with associates to understand roadblocks, and assisting in training them.
- Compliance & Collaboration: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implements related action plans, uses the Open Door Policy, and applies these in executing business processes.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with additional premiums depending on circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications...
6 months’ experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years or older. Successful completion of required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications...
Experience in Meat Processing Area.
