Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales and the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology for making immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and securing high-shrink merchandise. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging and storage of merchandise.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service. Interact with associates to identify and address roadblocks and assist in training.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and co-workers, prioritizing tasks, and communicating progress. Seek continuous improvement and adapt to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
