Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Ensure quality and standards for high-volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and assisting in training and mentoring others. Recognize contributions and foster a culture of high performance.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
