Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring product quality. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing tasks at the highest standards. Support and train team members, recognizing their contributions.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Use the Open Door Policy to address issues and improve business processes.
- Complete work assignments by setting priorities, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
