Job summary

AllThrive 365 is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee congregate and home-delivered meals for Senior Center Services. The role includes supervising 2–3 direct reports and 1–2 indirect reports, ensuring meals meet nutritional and contractual requirements, and maintaining sanitation standards.

The position emphasizes planning, training, and coordinating with team members to address daily service delivery needs, with opportunities for involvement in program operations and fundraising.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nutrition or food services or equivalent experience.
• Three years’ experience in planning, preparation and serving of large quantities of food.
• Knowledge of handling, preparation and cooking for 100–150 meals.
• Basic knowledge of senior nutritional requirements.
• Follows sanitation standards and procedures.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train cooks, assistants and volunteers.
• Plan daily menus and ensure nutritional requirements are met.
• Place and monitor food orders and manage kitchen supplies.
• Oversee sanitation audits and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• Guide and supervise direct reports and volunteers in meal prep and service.
• Assist with invoicing and billing as needed.
• Engage in fundraising activities for meal programs.
