Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Three years’ kitchen experience.
• Two years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Clerical and computer/database skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preparation of meals for program participants.
• Manages food, non-food items, and kitchen equipment to meet objectives.
• Prepares monthly menus and submits reports to the Director.
• Ensures meals meet nutrition guidelines and serving standards.
• Enforces proper food handling and hygiene practices.
