Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes and lunch plans, accommodating substitutions and diet modifications.
• Check and maintain proper food temperatures per dietary standards.
• Prepare trays for sick residents as requested by nursing staff.
• Lunchtime meal prep for apartment residents per schedule.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans; sanitize equipment after use.
• Direct and assist in putting away food and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen area and ensure health standards.
• Supervise dietary aide as needed; assist with bussing tables after meals.
• Assist with additional kitchen cleaning duties as assigned by Dietary Manager.
