You will collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to ensure menu plans are followed, inventory is managed, and a welcoming, efficient dining environment is maintained.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Basic inventory management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations and meal production.
• Help prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu plans.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff, volunteers, and food service workers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health code standards.
• Monitor food inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
• Lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
