Job summary

Vector3, Inc. is expanding its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team. The Senior Engineer, MDR will design and implement scalable security solutions, lead automation initiatives, and guide engineering practices to improve incident detection and response.

This remotely based role reports to the Director of Engineering and works across security operations and DFIR workflows. You will collaborate with peers to optimize MDR services, develop tooling, and ensure robust, scalable detection

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in security engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable security applications, integrations and automation frameworks.
• Lead complex engineering initiatives from design through deployment.
• Develop automation to reduce toil and improve response times across security operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance on engineering methodologies and automation techniques.
• Occasionally support complex digital forensic investigations, including analysis of system logs and network data.
