Job summary

Tokio Marine HCC International is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to provide technical and operational support for Vector3’s MDR customers. You will assist with incident follow-up, troubleshooting, remediation validation, and compliance reviews while serving as the technical backbone of the MDR team.

You will collaborate with TAMs, DFIR consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely security guidance, effective incident handling, and ongoing platform administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in cybersecurity, CS or IT with a 4-year degree.
• 3+ years in security operations, SOC, or incident response.
• Security certifications (Security+, CySA+, SC-200) are a plus.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• Experience with MDR/MSSP environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate MDR alerts requiring customer follow-up and coordinate responses.
• Support incident validation, scoping, and remediation activities; document findings.
• Assist with deployment and administration of MDR technologies; onboarding and configuration tasks.
• Support Cyber Hygiene assessments and security maturity evaluations; provide improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with TAMs, MDR teams and DFIR personnel during investigations and escalations.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; prepare investigation summaries.
• Maintain technical runbooks and documentation; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
