Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications Mission Solutions in Austin, TX (with Huntsville, AL as an alternate location) is seeking experienced Model Based Systems Engineers to lead design and development across a series of defense programs. The role focuses on systems design, MBSE, and expert judgment to support critical mission outcomes.

You will apply MBSE tools, develop test plans, mentor junior engineers, and ensure system performance, safety, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS / IS / engineering discipline.
• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required.
• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience with MBSE.
• Experience with simulation tools for system design, analysis and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of integrated avionics and communications systems.
• Provide expert judgment and technical leadership for product development.
• Develop system test plans and procedures in accordance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide engineering best practices.
• Write detailed test cases and coordinate verification activities.
