Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications in Huntsville, AL is hiring multiple Model Based Systems Engineers to lead design and development across defense programs. This position will tackle complex technical challenges and provide expert-level analysis in support of critical defense initiatives.

Requirements include an active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance, 8+ years in Systems Engineering with MBSE experience, and proficiency with simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an Engineering-related field.
• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship is mandatory).
• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field, including proven MBSE experience.
• Experience with simulation tools for system design, analysis, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of design and development of integrated avionics and communications systems.
• Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.
• Resolves highly complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.
• Mentor junior engineering candidates in Systems Engineering best practices.
• Develops/writes system test plans and procedures and writes detailed test cases.
