Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking multiple Model Based Systems Engineers to join our team in Austin, TX or Huntsville, AL. You will lead design and development across new defense programs, applying MBSE methods to complex avionics and communications systems.

The role requires 8+ years in systems engineering, hands-on MBSE experience, and an active Secret security clearance. Strong analytical skills, mentoring, and collaboration across multi-domain teams are essential.

Qualifications

• MBSE experience with system design and development.
• Active Secret U.S. Government security clearance is required.
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience including MBSE methods.
• Experience with simulation tools for system design, analysis, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop avionics and communications systems.
• Provide expert judgment on design and implementation of technical products.
• Resolves complex technical issues and conducts advanced research.
• Defend work and design approach per SE concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Recommend alterations to improve product quality and procedures.
• Plan and synchronize activities across multiple project teams.
