Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies seeks an Advanced Systems Engineer to advance MBSE practices, develop SysML models with CAMEO, and ensure system-level traceability through DOORS NG and Jira. The role collaborates with multiple engineering teams to capture architecture, decompose requirements, and validate designs against strict airworthiness standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering and MBSE roles.
• Hands-on experience with CAMEO Systems Modeler and strong SysML knowledge.
• Working knowledge of requirements tools such as DOORS NG and Jira.

Responsibilities

• MBSE Development & Maintenance: Create and maintain SysML models using CAMEO to represent architecture, behavior, interfaces, and requirements across the lifecycle.
• Requirements Decomposition: Translate high-level system/mission requirements into models with end-to-end traceability.
• Interface Definition: Model and manage interfaces to support hardware/software integration across aircraft, propulsion, avionics, and sensors.
• Digital Engineering Collaboration: Work with design and test teams to ensure consistent use of models for verification planning and design validation.
• System Integration Support: Use system models to inform development, identify dependencies, and support test readiness.
• Documentation & Compliance: Generate MBSE documentation for airworthiness, safety, and program reviews.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocate MBSE best practices and broaden tool adoption across teams.
