Job summary

MTSI seeks a Senior MBSE Modeler to drive SysML model development across DoD mission architectures. You will lead model creation in Cameo, ensure traceability within the Digital Thread, and supervise verification activities for large-scale digital engineering efforts.

The role requires senior MBSE expertise, strong communication with government customers, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while delivering rigorous, executable system models.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of MBSE experience with model-based design and analysis.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams of engineers, analysts, designers, and modelers.

Responsibilities

• Translate government technical direction into MBSE modeling workflows and SysML structures in Cameo.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Cameo SysML models with traceability to project standards.
• Coordinate model activities across Digital Thread data, simulations, and engineering processes.
• Serve as lead SysML modeler for mission engineering events and technical reviews.
• Support integration and testing using MBSE tools, model execution, and parametrics.
• Ensure timely delivery of MBSE artifacts including viewpoints and architecture descriptions.
• Collaborate with government representatives to align products with mission requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers in MBSE practices, SysML, Cameo usage, and model QA.
