Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced MBSE Engineer to advance model-based systems engineering across multiple aircraft programs and to lead MBSE pilots and proposals.

Based in Tempe, AZ or Torrance, CA, you will architect and implement Cameo-based MBSE reference models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, train staff, and integrate digital thread tools such as DOORS NG and Teamcenter, on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of Aerospace systems, control development or hardware/software experience
• Strong knowledge of MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody) and SysML
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems and requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders
• Experience in training and mentoring MBSE principles and tools
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in Aerospace MBSE Workstream to architect, implement and maintain MBSE reference models and style guides in Cameo
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in A&TS to adopt MBSE processes and best practices
• Provide technical guidance, training and support to A&TS group for MBSE tools
• Develop Digital Thread integrations between Cameo and DOORS NG/Teamcenter
• Lead A&TS MBSE pilot projects and proposal responses
