Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced MBSE Engineer to drive adoption of MBSE processes across multiple aircraft programs from its Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid schedule. The role reports to the Senior Systems Engineer Manager within the Controls Systems Integration group and emphasizes strong MBSE method application and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will lead MBSE pilots, provide Cameo/MBSE training and build Digital Thread integrations with DOORS NG and Teamcenter,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Aerospace systems, control development or hardware/software experience.
• Strong knowledge of MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody, etc.) and methodologies (SysML).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in training and mentoring team members on MBSE principles and tools.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Aerospace MBSE Workstream to architect, implement and maintain standard MBSE reference models and style guides in Cameo, including custom Meta Models and Stereotypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in A&TS to adopt Honeywell Aerospace MBSE processes and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, training and support to A&TS group for the use of Cameo and other MBSE tools.
• Develop and enable Digital Thread integrations use cases to for A&TS group, between Cameo and other key Digital Engineering Tools (DOORS NG, Teamcenter).
• Lead A&TS MBSE pilot projects and proposal responses.
