Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Software Engineer - Maximo to support the Gas Enterprise Asset Management system, designing, configuring, and maintaining Maximo across the full software delivery lifecycle. You will partner with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions and provide ongoing platform support.

You will work on integrations, automation scripts, configurations, and reporting, while guiding teams toward engineering best practices and reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
5+ years of Scrum/Agile, ITIL and SDLC practices.
5+ years in application development, application support, or enterprise platform engineering.
2+ years on an Agile development team.
2+ years implementing/supporting Maximo in cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

Support the Gas Enterprise Asset Management system with Maximo 7.6 and MAS 9.
Design, develop, configure, test, and support Maximo solutions across the full delivery lifecycle.
Deliver changes, fixes, and enhancements for Maximo apps, integrations, and components.
Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate into technical designs and plans.
Mentor teammates and promote engineering excellence and best practices.
