Job summary

Propel Schools seeks a Math Coordinator to lead Tier 1 instruction for grades 7–12 and to collaborate with district leaders to improve scholar outcomes. You will analyze data, coach teachers, and develop assessments in alignment with state standards.

Qualifications

• Level II Certification required.
• Mathematics Certification (7–12) required.
• Master's Degree in Education required.
• Minimum seven years of K–12 classroom teaching, grades 7–12.
• Experience with data analysis and instructional planning.
• Experience with diverse urban youth.
• Technology savvy with Google Apps and web tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Growth mindset and willingness to improve.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Math to plan scope and sequence.
• Lead network-wide Tier 1 math instruction for grades 7–12.
• Vet interventions with SPED Team and identify effective practices.
• Develop common math assessments and rubrics aligned to standards.
• Coach math educators through co-planning, observations, feedback cycles.
• Train 7–12 teachers on data-driven instruction.
• Analyze and share data to inform decisions and progress.
• Lead professional learning on curriculum, standards, data, instructional techniques.
• Work with leaders to set goals and revise resources for scholar outcomes.
• Provide math-focused resources to families.
