TrulyHired is seeking an Academic Coordinator for Math 7-12 to drive excellence in curriculum, instruction, and assessment within our urban district. The role partners with teachers, admins, and stakeholders to raise math outcomes and prepare students for higher education.

The position reports to the Chief Academic Officer and is a 260-day administrator contract with paid vacation, holidays, and personal days.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal work status in the U.S.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education with teaching license and admin certification or ability to obtain Alt Admin License. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience in content area; urban/administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in building leadership/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of standards, research-based practices, and curriculum development.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and support district curriculum and instructional practices.
• Create instructional guides and formative assessments for content/grades.
• Meet with Curriculum Team to define professional development needs.
• Develop and coordinate site-based staff development exercises.
• Provide classroom coaching and communicate coaching focus and outcomes.
• Plan and coordinate professional learning communities within the content area.
• Coordinate with third-party providers for professional development.
• Analyze district assessment data and share recommendations at multiple levels.
• Travel for meetings, professional development, and assignments.
