Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Senior Manager, Material Program Manager to lead a team of Material Program Managers in a matrix environment, coordinating between Supply Chain and the Program Team to ensure flawless execution from front end through full-rate production.

The role requires advanced knowledge in material strategy, customer negotiation support, MRP-based scheduling, and cross-functional partnership with Engineering, Quality and Operations.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
• Proficiency with BOEs/estimating and proposals.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA or related regulations knowledge.
• Experience managing program cost and schedule.
• Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse or PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise goals.
• Lead a team of Material Program Managers.
• Support proposals, estimates, and basis of estimates (BOEs) to win targets.
• Create and manage Material Program Plans (MPP).
• Establish material sales forecasts for assigned programs.
• Support gates throughout program life cycle.
• Develop risk/opportunity plans to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Operations for common scheduling based on MRP.
• Monitor performance metrics and address program issues; manage budgets.
• Travel up to 20%.
