Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Materials Manager for our Charlotte, NC facility. You will lead a team of planners and buyers to manage material flow from suppliers through receipt to production readiness, optimize inventory levels, and drive forecast accuracy.

You will implement advanced purchasing and scheduling strategies, improve ERP configuration, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining cost controls. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in direct material, inventory planning, supplier management, and strategy development
• Experience supervising professionals (2+ years)
• ERP knowledge with focus on MRP, Scheduling, and Purchasing

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Planning and/or Purchasing professionals to define and execute a materials strategy from supplier to shipment readiness
• Manage plant inventory performance for Raw, WIP, Finished Goods; optimize stock levels and reduce obsolescence
• Set and monitor inventory strategy and plan for every part; contribute to SIOP materials availability and forecasts
• Improve ERP effectiveness and automate planning/scheduling processes
• Ensure supplier OTD and performance; drive corrective actions and escalations
• Oversee procurement, material handling, scheduling, receiving, shipping, production scheduling, forecasting, and demand management
