Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center operator to perform material handling, inbound/outbound processing, returns, and acquisitions within the DC. You will move merchandise, ensure inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience with RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems, and includes training responsibilities when assigned. This is a full-time on-site position in Houston, TX, with focus on efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including safely lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development of team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, and WMS.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
• Follow safety standards and keep work areas organized and free of hazards.
