Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center operator to support inbound/outbound operations, returns, and acquisitions within our TN warehouse. You will use RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems to move and track merchandise while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, quality procedures, and the ability to train teammates as needed. Prior PIE, WMS, or RF experience is preferred; candidates comfortable with a fast-paced environment will

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including lifting, moving, and handling merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, store returns, warranties, acquisitions, and vendor returns.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and other warehouse tech.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, staging, and discrepancy resolution.
• Follow safety standards and regulatory requirements in all warehouse tasks.
• Provide training in assigned functional areas when requested.
