Job summary
RapinnoTech - APAC & USA is seeking an experienced Industrial/Mechanical Engineer to own the full lifecycle of material flow design and automation. You will design and deploy automated systems (AGV/AMR/AGC, conveyors), specify requirements, and model capacity and throughput to support scalable manufacturing.
You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Operations, Controls, Facilities, and IE teams to integrate automation with MES/WMS/PLC control systems and drive continuous improvement to uptime
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years in manufacturing, automation or material handling.
- Proven AGV/AMR/AGC/VRC/Conveyor/Robotics/ASRS expertise.
- Experience leading end-to-end automation projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, FlexSim.
Responsibilities
- Own full lifecycle of material flow and equipment from concept to handover.
- Design and deploy automated material flow systems (AGV/AMR/ conveyors).
- Specify mechanical, electrical and control system requirements.
- Develop architecture, capacity, and throughput models for feasibility.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Controls, Facilities, IE teams.
- Lead end-to-end program management: scope, RFQ, procurement, FAT/SAT, budget, milestones.
- Build DES models with FlexSim to evaluate capacity and utilization.
- Deliver data-driven insights to support decisions.
