Job summary

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a Senior Factory Production Planner / Master Scheduler to translate demand, forecasts, backlog, and priorities into a credible multi-site production plan. You will own the MPS and drive demand-to-supply alignment across Tualatin and Dallas facilities, working with Customer Service, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality.

The role requires 5–8+ years in demand/production planning, strong MRP/MPS expertise, and proficiency with Epicor Kinetic and Planet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive manufacturing experience
• 5–8+ years of progressive demand planning, production planning, master scheduling, materials planning, production control, or related manufacturing experience
• Demonstrated ownership of a Master Production Schedule in a complex manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of MRP, MPS, RCCP, finite‑capacity planning, inventory management, planning parameters, time fences, and S&O/SIOP or S&O/E principles
• Ability to translate demand, supply, capacity, material, and operational data into executable plans and decision‑ready recommendations
• Advanced ERP, Excel, data-analysis, and planning-system capability
• Strong facilitation, communication, judgment, and cross‑functional influence skills

Responsibilities

• Translate the MPS into executable requirements for site planners, schedulers, capacity planning, purchasing, and Operations
• Lead regular master‑schedule reviews covering demand changes, backlog, material readiness, capacity, constraints, recovery plans, and decision needs
• Maintain schedule stability while responding to legitimate customer, quality, engineering, equipment, labor, and supply disruptions
• Use the Planning Change Request process for proposed changes that are not supported by the approved system plan
• Coordinate recovery scenarios for past‑due or at‑risk demand and ensure actions, owners, dates, and impacts are visible
• Support cross‑functional governance of planning data and parameters
