AIG is seeking a Complex Director in Excess Claims to lead investigation, evaluation, and disposition of multimillion-dollar property and casualty claims. You will direct litigation strategy, negotiate with top plaintiff attorneys, and present case dispositions to senior management, coordinating with insureds, brokers, underwriters, and counsel.

Base salary varies by location; this role is office-based in several major US cities, with eligibility for an incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities and strategic thinking.
• Advanced experience in litigation claims management including ADR/mediation.
• Property and Casualty licenses required, obtainable within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Investigate, evaluate, and disposition high-value third-party property and casualty claims.
• Lead litigation strategy, direct negotiations, mediations, and trials; present to senior management.
• Coordinate with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and claimants to manage expectations and outcomes.
• Ensure proper documentation of exposure evaluation and resolution strategy.
