Job summary

L3Harris MMG Division, based in Waco, TX, seeks a Senior Specialist in Mass Properties Engineering to drive mass properties analyses for aircraft modification programs onsite. You will prepare analyses, write reports, and present results to program teams and customers.

The role requires strong documentation skills, a willingness to travel, and the ability to support multiple shifts and overtime as needed. A US Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of related experience; Graduate Degree with at least 4 years; or 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4 years experience with Aircraft Weight & Balance: weight analysis, logbook development, CG plotting, weighting parts and full aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform mass properties analyses for aircraft modification programs.
• Prepare detailed analyses and documentation showing impact on aircraft mass properties.
• Create reports and written communications for program teams and customers.
• Assist with tests, weighings, data recording, and related activities.
• Support engineers and participate in program team meetings and briefings.
