Job summary

L3Harris MMG Division is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer for our onsite facility in Waco, TX. The role involves performing mass properties analyses for aircraft modifications, documenting impacts, and producing clear reports for program teams and customers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience (or a Graduate Degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years with no degree) and can obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; 6+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years with a Graduate Degree, or 10 years with no degree.
• Extensive experience with Aircraft Weight & Balance: weight analysis, W&B logbooks, CG plotting and tracking.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mass properties analyses for aircraft modification programs and document impacts on mass properties.
• Prepare detailed analyses and well‑written reports and communications in a timely manner.
• Represent the Mass Properties Group on program teams, meetings and customer briefings.
