Job summary

Innova Solutions in Greenville, TX seeks a Senior Mass Properties Engineer for a 12-month contract to hire. Lead analyses, develop weight distributions, and coordinate with design, structural, loads, and certification teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Engineering degree with extensive mass properties experience, DoD clearance, and proficiency in CAD and Excel. Travel to flight lines and aircraft hangars is expected, with a competitive benefits package on offer.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering, math, or physics with 9+ years of experience.
Graduate degree with 7+ years of experience; or 13 years with no degree.
DoD Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Lead mass properties analyses and weight control for major modifications.
Calculate component weights, moment arms, and mass moments of inertia.
Evaluate weight and balance impacts from modifications and develop mass distributions.
Maintain weight control plans, allocations, and status reporting.
Prepare weight charts, inventories, and engineering reports.
Coordinate mass properties tasks across contracts with stakeholders.
