Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer to support advanced aerospace systems, applying mass properties calculations, modeling, simulation, and aircraft inventory expertise.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead CAE-driven analyses, document weights and configurations, and mentor junior engineers while pursuing design, testing, certification, and deployment across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with aircraft inventory, mass properties calculations, modeling and simulation.
• Exposure to CAE tools and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to document technical results.
• English proficiency in speaking, reading and writing; eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead mass properties calculation and analysis for advanced aerospace systems.
• Develop, maintain, and validate mass properties models and simulations.
• Document component weights and configurations from aircraft inventory.
• Perform aircraft weighing and mass properties assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical findings.
