Job summary

Bank of Montreal is seeking a Mass Affluent Banking Consultant in Visalia, CA to proactively manage a portfolio across multiple branches. You will be the primary contact to uncover financial needs and provide meaningful solutions while complying with regulatory policies.

You will build relationships with clients and the community, educate them on digital banking options, and collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Post-secondary degree in related field preferred.
• SIE/Series licenses required; obtain within 120 days if not held.
• Strong deposit, loan, mortgage knowledge; credit risk policies.
• Knowledge of brokerage, insurance, retirement, and trust services.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication; relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively builds and manages an assigned portfolio of mass affluent clients across branches.
• Acts as the primary contact to uncover financial needs and provide solutions.
• Meets sales targets by acquiring new assets and expanding client relationships.
• Reviews credit applications to ensure sound principles and asset quality.
• Liaises with clients and departments to provide product support and problem solving.
• Educates clients on digital options and self-serve banking tools.
• Mentors branch personnel and supports strategic initiatives with stakeholders.
