Qualifications

• Typically 4–6 years of relevant financial services experience.
• Knowledge of banking products, pricing strategies and profitability.
• SIE, Series 6, 63, 65, Life & Health licenses required; Series 7 & 66 preferred.
• If licenses are not held, they are required within 120 days of start.
• Advanced understanding of deposits, loans, credit risk and banking policies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages an assigned portfolio of mass affluent clients across multiple branches.
• Acts as primary client contact to uncover financial needs and provide solutions.
• Uncovers needs, presents solutions, and identifies sales opportunities.
• Makes recommendations on products, pricing and services and coordinates with business partners.
• Acquires assets from existing portfolio and new acquisitions to meet targets.
• Collaborates with branch partners to identify suitable clients and calling plans.
• Reviews credit applications to ensure sound lending principles and remedies as needed.
• Conducts client review meetings for retention and expansion of relationships.
• Engages with communities to identify prospects and centers of influence; fosters referrals.
• Mentors branch personnel to enhance knowledge around mass affluent clients.
• Educates clients on digital banking options and self-service tools.
• Liaises between clients and departments for product support and issue resolution.
• Follows risk management framework and regulatory requirements to protect assets.
• Maintains confidentiality of client and bank information.
• Identifies risks and takes appropriate actions; documents accordingly.
• Monitors exceptions reports and takes corrective actions.
• Supports strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Delivers timely, accurate and efficient service; focuses on business groups within BMO.
