Job summary

International Erosion Control Association seeks a Construction Estimator / Project Manager – Masonry with strong masonry estimating and project management experience. You will estimate projects from inception through completion, review bid documents, perform take-offs, and manage budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
• Strong knowledge of masonry construction methods, materials, and installation techniques.
• Experience with brick, block, stone, mortar, reinforcement, and related masonry systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, AccuBid, or similar platforms.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine project requirements.
• Perform material take-offs for masonry projects (brick, block, stone, mortar, reinforcement).
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
• Calculate labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
• Prepare accurate, competitive bid proposals and ensure scope compliance.
• Manage masonry projects from planning through closeout.
• Develop schedules and monitor budgets; coordinate with clients and teams.
• Monitor safety, quality, and schedule; manage change orders.
