Job summary

Nextens is seeking a Manager of MarTech Architecture & Engineering to lead the strategic direction and governance of the Marketing Technology ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, martech, or related technical disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, engineering organizations, architecture functions, or technical programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise application architecture, integration patterns, APIs, and cloud-based technologies.
• Experience working across multiple MarTech platforms such as Marketing Automation, CDP, CRM, Analytics, Web Technologies, or Customer Engagement Platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and business engagement skills.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical strategies and execution plans.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, governance processes, and technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve MarTech architecture standards, principles, integration patterns, and governance frameworks across Marketing Automation, CDP, CRM, Analytics, Web, and customer engagement platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for complex, high-impact, cross-platform initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, compliance, scalability, reliability, and operational standards.
• Drive platform modernization, optimization, technical debt reduction, and long-term sustainability across the MarTech ecosystem.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for architecture decisions, escalations, and cross-platform challenges.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical specialists while fostering engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technology leaders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and strategic roadmaps.
• Facilitate solution discovery, technical planning, architecture decision-making, and trade-off discussions for strategic initiatives.
• Govern delivery readiness by managing technical risks, dependencies, platform health, resource planning, and solution quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Drive collaboration and alignment across Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and business teams to ensure consistent technology standards and cohesive customer experiences.
