Job summary

Truist seeks a Senior Manager for MarTech Data & Platforms Engineering to lead architecture, governance, and operational excellence across the enterprise Marketing Technology data ecosystem.

You will drive modernization of customer data platforms, cloud data infrastructure, and activation services while guiding teams delivering scalable, compliant solutions across web, mobile, email, and analytics ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years IT software engineering, 5+ years business experience, 5+ years project management, and at least 2 years of management experience.
• Advanced management and leadership experience leading teams.
• Developing expertise in software architecture, development lifecycle, and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for MarTech data and platform engineering.
• Lead architecture and evolution of customer data platforms, marketing data services, and activation frameworks.
• Establish scalable architectures supporting batch, streaming, and real-time data use cases.
• Drive modernization of data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning capabilities.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture to align investments with standards.
• Lead engineering teams for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and activation services.
• Deliver scalable pipelines for customer profiles, audience activation, and measurement use cases.
• Own platform reliability, performance, and technical debt management.
• Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
