Job summary

RELX is seeking a Manager of MarTech Architecture & Engineering in Alpharetta to lead the technical direction for Marketing Automation, CDP, CRM, Analytics, Web, and engagement platforms. You will bridge business and tech, oversee architecture governance, and guide a team of senior engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and business leaders, drive modernization, manage risk, and ensure security and compliance across the marketing tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, MarTech, or related fields.
• 3+ years leading technical teams, engineering orgs, or architecture functions.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, integration patterns, APIs, and cloud tech.
• Experience across Marketing Automation, CDP, CRM, Analytics, Web, or engagement platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management and business engagement skills.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical plans.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern MarTech architecture standards and integration patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight for cross-platform initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with security, privacy, compliance, and scalability.
• Drive platform modernization and reduce technical debt.
• Serve as senior technical authority for architecture decisions and escalations.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers and specialists.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable solutions.
• Facilitate planning and trade-off discussions for strategic initiatives.
• Govern delivery readiness and manage technical risks and dependencies.
• Promote collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and business teams.
