You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operators to apply engineering and operations research techniques, building prototypes and models that drive informed decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering. Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Experience in electricity market design, operations, or research and development; market analysis or system planning in energy.
• Understanding of electricity market principles, tariffs, and NERC/FERC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering and operations research techniques to analyze electricity markets and grid operations.
• Develop and maintain computer models, run simulations, and analyze results to support decision-making.
• Preprocess and analyze energy market and infrastructure data from multiple sources.
• Develop algorithms using optimization, control theory, and analytics to create innovative solutions.
• Document findings through reports, charts, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with market design, operations, and external partners to mature concepts into production-ready solutions.
