Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/related field with 2+ years experience in electricity markets or grid operations.
• Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 1–2 years in electricity market design, operations, or research and development.
• Experience with quantitative analysis and optimization algorithms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply power engineering and operations research to explore options and propose solutions.
• Gather and examine datasets to understand market and grid performance.
• Build and maintain models and simulation tools for testing market solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to improve electricity markets and grid operations.
• Develop and refine algorithms to improve efficiency and reliability of markets and grid.
• Document and present findings through reports and visualizations.
