Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst in Oakland, CA, to drive data-driven decisions across demand generation, digital, field and partner marketing. You will build canonical datasets, dashboards, and models, partnering with Marketing, Finance, and Analytics to answer high-impact questions and improve performance.

The role is full-time with a flexible hybrid model, encouraging in-person collaboration while allowing remote work; candidate will help standardize metrics and empower teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in analytics or a related role.
• Strong SQL and data modeling on large datasets.
• Experience with BI tools (Looker, Sigma, Hex) and data storytelling.
• Track record translating questions into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Define and own core marketing metrics across demand, funnel, and revenue.
• Build scalable analytical products, datasets, and dashboards for Marketing.
• Translate analyses into clear narratives for executives and teams.
• Establish data quality, governance, and responsible use practices.
• Mentor analysts and shape the company’s analytics culture.
