Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years sales management experience in cemetery/funeral industry.
• Experience supervising Sales Counselors and providing coaching and training.
• Experience presenting, training, coaching and motivating salespeople.
• Knowledge of Windows-based PC environment and MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a sales staff to meet or exceed quotas and grow market share.
• Provide ongoing sales instruction and guidance to Sales Counselors.
• Manage aftercare process, prospecting, product knowledge, and sales presentations.
• Develop marketing programs aligned with community demographics and competition.
• Ensure compliance with HMIS and regulatory requirements; maintain financial controls.
• Oversee marketing materials, sales equipment, and a professional sales environment.
