Job summary

Cisco's Market Insights team delivers critical market intelligence to support executive decision-making. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will build analytics and dashboards to size markets, track performance, and translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, or a comparable visualization platform.
• Strong grounding in data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing.
• Demonstrated experience applying LLMs to business problems — automating analysis, synthesizing unstructured data, or building agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Run deep‑dive analyses across large, disparate datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities in the global technology market.
• Market Sizing & Forecasting: Build and maintain TAM models and forecasts for priority segments, tracking forecast accuracy and refining methodology over time.
• Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that turn complex datasets into insight an executive can absorb in two minutes.
• Gen AI Integration: Apply LLMs and agentic workflows to synthesize unstructured sources and to accelerate recurring reporting and narrative development.
• Data Modeling: Architect and optimize the data models behind our analytical platforms for accuracy, scalability, and performance.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Work with Sales, Product Management, and Strategy to turn open business questions into analytical work, and own the reporting cadence that supports their planning.
