Selby Jennings is partnering with a globally recognized financial markets infrastructure and data organization to lead a North American analytics business. You will own a large territory across the U.S.

and Canada, selling highly specialized market data and analytics solutions to sophisticated participants in global financial markets. Ideal candidates are commercially driven, understand the market data ecosystem, and enjoy building new business with trading, research, and investment teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota-carrying sales or business development in capital markets or financial data.
• Experience selling market data, analytics, or data licensing to institutional clients.
• Proven track record of new business and client relationships.
• Existing buy-side and/or sell-side relationships preferred.
• Ability to manage a territory and complex sales cycles independently.
• Strong commercial acumen and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across the U.S. and Canada.
• Develop relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and trading firms.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Identify opportunities to expand adoption of data and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with product, data, and commercial teams to tailor solutions.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
