Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Maritime team. You will design and support integration of subsystems and ensure system performance for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems engineering, integration & test, or platform architecture.
• Electromechanical hardware experience across mech, electrical, and software boundaries.
• Demonstrated root cause and corrective action methodologies.
• Software literacy: read/analyze code (Rust, Python, or C) and analyze dependencies.
• Experience with requirements frameworks and justified changes.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Ability to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional coordination between the program and internal support groups.
• Establish and maintain configuration management practices for rapid iteration.
• Lead requirements generation, analysis, and verification with justified changes.
• Drive qualification testing, DBT, integration verification, and acceptance testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and adjust manufacturing test procedures.
• Maintain vehicle architecture documentation and interface traceability.
• Collaborate across business lines to align on shared objectives.
• Support sea operations, risk management, and proposal efforts as needed.
